Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Technical Writer - Data & Architecture to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the documentation team supporting various data architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer - Data & Architecture

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Pay Range: $55hr-$60hr

What's the Job?

• Translate complex technical discussions into clear visual and written artifacts.
• Create executive-facing presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint tailored for non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop structured documentation from conceptual design discussions, including data flow diagrams and architecture overviews.
• Document validation rules, data quality checks, and maintain structured documentation for compliance.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineering teams to gather information and resolve ambiguity.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in data architecture or technology domains.
• Strong expertise in creating presentations and visual storytelling.
• Skilled at translating rough notes into clear and accurate documents.
• Experience in documenting validation rules and maintaining traceability.
• Comfortable working independently and asking clarifying questions.
