Compensation $55,000 salary per year Medical, dental and vision coverage offered 401(k) With employer contribution Paid holidays, vacation and sick time Company sponsored life insurance Company sponsored short and long-term disability Pet Insurance Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for soliciting new business and maintaining the existing customer base, covering hard material, grease trap services, used cooking oil collection, and repair and maintenance of drains and grease traps in meat, fish, food processing, and restaurant industries. Communicate with customers on an ongoing basis to determine service satisfaction, additional needs, and overall service quality. Meet with cancelled accounts to understand cancellation reasons and attempt account recovery. Schedule meetings with customers and set up cold calls in areas identified by the Division Manager and Procurement Operations Manager. Communicate orally and in writing with customers and all levels of Company personnel, including business owners, officers, Division management, and staff. Meet/communicate with City and/or County inspectors involved in regulation and enforcement of laws related to Company services. 75-90% of the day will involve field visits to new and existing customers, depending on assigned tasks. Prepare customer setup sheets and enter new customer information into the Company's routing system. Provide daily reports to the Division General Manager and Procurement Operations Manager. Follow up on stops with no material picked up as identified by drivers to determine the status and re‑route if necessary. Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner. Follow department and company procedures. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality, essential for smooth operation. Other duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective business operation; responsibilities may change as business needs evolve. Requirements 3 to 5 years of experience and contacts in the restaurant/food industry. Ability to work independently. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). High school diploma. Valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR. Local travel up to 90%. Physical Demands/Requirements Constantly (over 2/3): Travel to customer locations and move throughout facilities such as kitchens and grease collection areas. Move materials or documents up to 40 lbs. Operate computer and office machinery (calculator, copier, printer). Review documents, organize data, and ensure accuracy. Communicate with customers and co‑workers in person, on the phone, and via email. Frequently (1/3‑2/3): Move throughout office accessing files, office machinery, etc. Remain stationary for up to 50% or more of the time. About Baker Commodities, Inc.
