We are looking for an Advanced CNC Programmer to join a precision manufacturing team producing complex aerospace and defense components. This is a hands-on role for a highly skilled professional who thrives on solving challenging machining problems and driving innovation in multi-axis programming. Key Responsibilities
Program intricate aerospace and defense components for multi-axis machining, with a strong focus on advanced 3- and 4-axis milling strategies. Optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and other modern CAM tools. Design and validate robust workholding and fixturing solutions for high-precision production and prototypes. Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and leadership to improve cycle times, extend tool life, and ensure process stability. Create and maintain detailed setup sheets and machining work instructions. Champion the adoption of new technologies, including machine upgrades, advanced tooling, and automation systems. Qualifications
5+ years of CNC programming experience, specializing in 3- and 4-axis milling. Expert-level proficiency in Mastercam, including simultaneous 5-axis toolpath programming. Skilled in SolidWorks for design and modeling. Strong understanding of machining characteristics for aluminum, steels, stainless steel, titanium, and nickel alloys. Proven track record in process optimization, cycle time reduction, and tool life improvement. Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex multi-axis machining challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Additional Expertise
