Seeking a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Houston, Texas location. This role is critical to our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments. You will be responsible for accurately receiving goods, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments for delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related logistics role.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier procedures.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and safety protocols, including PPE.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
