Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments.
- Verify deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders, reporting discrepancies.
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments for transit.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and secure.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving, or a similar warehouse/logistics role.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and related software.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting tasks regularly.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and mandatory use of PPE.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
