Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any issues.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
- Track inventory movements and update system records.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal departments.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Support overall warehouse and logistics operations as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar warehouse role.
- Familiarity with shipping software and documentation.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Physical ability to handle frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Understanding of logistics principles.
