We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This position requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be responsible for accurately selecting and retrieving products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, ensuring the correct items and quantities are picked. This involves navigating the warehouse efficiently, utilizing order sheets or handheld scanning devices, and preparing items for the packing and shipping stages. Maintaining an organized workspace and adhering to all safety protocols are paramount. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment setting, understand the importance of accuracy in order fulfillment, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety on the job. The ability to perform manual labor, including significant lifting, is essential. You will be working within a bustling distribution center, contributing to the smooth flow of goods and materials. A strong understanding of logistics principles and warehouse operations will be beneficial. This role is vital to our supply chain and requires a reliable individual ready to contribute to our team's success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: picking items according to pick lists, verifying product codes and quantities, operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely, reporting any discrepancies or damages, and assisting with inventory counts as needed.
