Play‑Based Interventions: Deliver age‑appropriate, play‑based interventions and develop individualized care plans that align with each patient’s medical and psychosocial needs.
Holistic Growth Support: Promote the emotional, social, and cognitive growth of patients, considering the context of their family, culture, and developmental stage.
Educational Guidance: Enhance patients’ and families’ understanding of medical procedures and diagnoses using developmentally appropriate techniques.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Child Life Development, Early Childhood Education, or Pediatric Psychology.
Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience working with children.
Licenses/Certifications: Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification is required.
