Program Description Blackstone's Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week in-person experience, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture.
Job Description Blackstone’s Real Estate Debt Strategies Group offers Summer Analysts experience on a professional team whose work involves the financing of real estate-related companies, portfolios of real estate assets, and individual properties worldwide. Summer Analysts at Blackstone have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of real estate investing and can expect to be staffed on a number of transactions at once. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, Summer Analysts are expected to assume integral roles on deal teams. Summer Analysts are involved with the development, structuring, and financing of transactions and regularly attend both internal and external meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions.
Responsibilities
Real estate underwriting for all major asset classes and a wide range of transactions, including loan modifications, workouts, restructurings, upsizes, and add-on investments
Assist in the management and servicing of a portfolio of complex private commercial real estate debt investments
Due diligence for lease and budget approvals, property releases, and capital expenditure fundings
Participate in internal and external client meetings and observe the negotiation of contracts
Financial analysis, modeling, and use of Argus
Market research, asset tours, borrower relationship management
Competitive analysis
Developing investment committee presentations
Assist in the execution of transactions including loan modifications, lease approvals, property releases, capital expenditure fundings, and due diligence
Drafting memoranda for internal and external use
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A desire to work in a team environment with dynamic roles
A basic knowledge of accounting and finance
High level of motivation to find solutions independently, and humility to acknowledge limits and uncertainties

Eligibility Criteria
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2027 – Spring 2028
Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA

Compensation Expected annual base salary range: $110,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
