Interior Designer & Procurement Specialist
We are seeking a highly creative, detail‑oriented Interior Designer & Procurement Specialist to lead design and purchasing initiatives across our healthcare facilities. This role blends interior design expertise with strategic procurement, helping shape functional, beautiful, and brand‑consistent environments for our residents, guests, and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement interior design plans, including layouts, finishes, furniture, and color schemes.
Partner with leadership and marketing to ensure brand consistency across all facilities.
Conduct site visits and provide space‑planning recommendations to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
Advise on interior, exterior, and landscaping design to maintain a polished, welcoming environment.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Establish and maintain preferred vendor lists and designer accounts with discounted pricing.
Streamline purchasing processes, quotes, and approvals to support operational efficiency.
Assist facilities with procurement of furniture, equipment, décor, and supplies at the best value.
Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables for all design‑related projects.
Coordinate contractors, painters, movers, and maintenance teams to ensure successful execution.
Track and maintain inventory of furniture, fixtures, equipment, samples, and materials.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in interior design and procurement.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred).
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and purchasing platforms.
Strong negotiation, vendor relations, and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work onsite from the Skokie, IL office.
