You Will As an outside sales representative/District Sales Manager at Intermex Wire Transfer, you will focus on prospecting and business development strategies to drive volume through new and existing customers. This role involves selling remittance services and driving transaction volume by influencing business customers to promote our services to their own customers. The ideal candidate is success‑driven, thrives in a fast‑paced, changing environment, and works well with a diverse team. You must have experience in B2B outside sales and strong mathematical reasoning.
Must be able to work evenings and some weekends This outside sales role requires four active days a week selling on the field, meeting with prospective business customers, and one to two days per week of admin work from home. Employees must be available on‑call during weekends to respond to urgent customer needs or support high‑traffic business hours.
Compensation This role offers a competitive base salary plus commission with uncapped commission, a vehicle allowance, and a company credit card for travel expenses. A potential sign‑on bonus of $10K–$20K+ is available for top candidates with industry experience.
Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new revenue by signing new retailers through in‑person B2B sales tactics.
Create and follow weekly sales plans, including daily prospecting visits to 40–50 retailers per week.
Promote Intermex’s Point‑of‑Sale product that delivers services such as International Wire Transfers, Bill Payments, Check Cashing and Top‑Up services.
Utilize our in‑house built Sales Platform to track gross margins, sales, data and areas of opportunity in your territory.
Manage ROI to achieve sales objectives and revenue goals with inside sales teammates.
Deliver product presentations by demonstrating an industry‑leading suite of products and money transfer services on POS and digital channels.
Improve current Agent (Retail Partner) relationships by exceeding expectations in sales calls, quarterly business reviews, and by presenting solutions.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with inside sales and marketing teams to leverage cross‑selling opportunities and maximize product offering and profit.
Meet and exceed key performance indicators: sales call activity, wire sales targets, agent activation targets and gross margin sales targets.
What You Have
Bilingual Spanish/English (Portuguese and Haitian Creole roles available on the careers page).
3+ years of proven B2B, SMB outside sales experience.
Experience selling to retailers and/or businesses; bonus if you have influenced business owners to promote your product/service.
Strong analytical and mathematical reasoning; you must calculate FX rates and gross profit margins.
Higher degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Business or related fields preferred.
Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office software.
Own vehicle and car insurance (monthly car allowance and company credit card provided).
Drive across your territory 75%+ of the week.
