Nanny Job Available with Turkish Family in Bodrum, Turkey
Position Title: Family Nanny (English-Speaking)
Department: Private Household Reports To: Parents Location: Bitez, Turkey (with frequent international travel) Job Type: Full-time, Live-in
Position Overview A Turkish mother – Singaporean father (born in Russia) family is seeking a caring, positive, and adaptable nanny to look after their daughter, born in July 2023. The role is centred on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment through playful learning, exploration, and age-appropriate activities. The daughter is already bilingual in English and Turkish and enjoys animals, creative play, and spending time both indoors and outdoors. She is cheerful, curious, adaptable, and accustomed to frequent travel with her family. This is a highly travel-focused position. The nanny will accompany the family regularly on international trips (including Germany, Singapore, Italy, and the USA), often travelling on the family’s private jet.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily care and supervision for the child, supporting her physical, emotional, and educational needs.
Engage the child in creative, playful, and age-appropriate activities that encourage bilingual learning and development.
Organize the child’s clothing, toys, and travel essentials.
Handle nursery duties, including the child’s cleaning and laundry (no cooking required).
Accompany the family on frequent international trips, adapting routines to different environments.
Provide flexible support during family events, beach trips, and celebrations.
Collaborate naturally with parents and integrate warmly into family life.
Qualifications Education & Experience
Minimum 5 years’ professional childcare experience with infants and toddlers.
Valid First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Previous experience travelling with families preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Fluent English speaker; Turkish an advantage.
Warm, playful, and nurturing personality with a positive outlook.
Flexible and adaptable to frequent travel.
Responsible, organised, and proactive.
Work Environment & Conditions
Schedule: Monday to Saturday.
Location: Family home in Bitez, Bodrum – a peaceful coastal area with sandy beaches and a relaxed atmosphere.
Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom in the family home.
Travel: Regular international travel with the family (private jet).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
Annual leave: 28 days per year – should be used 2 times per year.
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) budget: £170 annually.
Accommodation and travel expenses fully covered.
