This role involves leading direct sales efforts in your designated territory. Through our comprehensive training, you’ll learn to engage with small and medium‑sized businesses across various industries, forging direct connections with business owners and decision‑makers. Your main focus will be promoting supplemental insurance products and services to business owners and employees, with occasional product presentations to sizable groups of 50‑100+.
Responsibilities
Lead direct sales efforts in designated territory.
Engage with small and medium‑sized businesses, building relationships with owners and decision‑makers.
Promote supplemental insurance products and services to business owners and employees.
Deliver product presentations to groups of 50‑100+.
Manage weekly sales activities while balancing sales goals with training and mentorship of new team members.
Use strong sales skills and prior leadership/mentorship experience to support team and increase sales.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and sales staff.
Leadership skills and ability to train and mentor.
Strategic planning and familiarity with effective sales strategies.
Inspirational attitude and ability to motivate a team.
Product knowledge and strong customer service skills.
Additional Qualifications
Pass a high‑level pre‑employment background check.
Active driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your state (or willingness to obtain, with study course provided and state licensing fee reimbursement).
Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 4 years post‑high‑school work experience (consider candidates with Compensation & Benefits
Full classroom and field training program.
Weekly draw pay option plus commissions (no caps, short sales cycle – 3 business days) and monthly cash sales bonuses, quarterly stock share bonuses, incentive trips, and vested renewal commissions.
