Cannabis Brand Ambassador – Trimmr LLC
As a Cannabis Brand Ambassador for Trimmr LLC, you are the essential link between our top‑tier client brands and their success in the industry. You will be offered shift opportunities, commonly referred to as “pop‑ups” at licensed dispensaries and events in your region. During these 3‑4 hour shifts, you serve as the trusted, knowledgeable, and reliable face of each brand. This part‑time, on‑demand role blends sales, customer service, and brand kit management to directly impact our clients’ brand success in the competitive cannabis market.
Core Responsibilities & Expectations
Punctuality, Reliability, & Accountability (The Cornerstones)
Reliable commute and setup: arrive at each “pop‑up” shift with your assigned brand kit and display table, prepared to drive sales by interacting with and educating customers on each product.
Time management: use our required mobile application to accurately clock in and out for all shifts, demonstrating consistent punctuality.
Accountable logistics: take full responsibility for the security, organization, and inventory of one or more brand‑specific kits, including requesting replacement stock well in advance of depletion.
Detailed reporting: submit comprehensive end‑of‑day reports immediately following the shift through the mobile app, ensuring client requirements are met.
Customer engagement, sales, & education: act as a passionate, authentic extension of the client brand and proactively engage customers, provide accurate product education, and execute strategies to drive sales and customer sign‑ups (e.g., email lists, promotions).
Knowledge & training: commit to taking and excelling in continuous brand‑specific training to become fully versed in every aspect of each brand’s culture, product line, and competitive advantages.
Professional feedback: provide detailed, actionable feedback to Trimmr and clients regarding customer interactions, product interest, and operational insights.
Professionalism & operational excellence: maintain a high level of professionalism, present yourself well, manage your display based on client reference images, and adhere to all dress code requirements.
Adaptability: independently manage the logistics of your shifts and smoothly adapt your approach to unexpected changes in the store environment (e.g., short staffing, high volume).
Compliance: adhere strictly to all NYS cannabis laws, OCM guidelines, and dispensary‑specific operating procedures.
Qualifications
Experience: proven experience (preferred 1+ years) in sales, brand ambassador services, promotional work, retail, or high‑volume customer service.
Industry passion: a deep, demonstrated passion for the cannabis industry and motivation to grow professionally within it.
Communication: exceptional ability to communicate clearly, engagingly, and authentically, building immediate trust and rapport.
Self‑starter: highly organized, self‑motivated, and capable of independent decision‑making, communication, and problem‑solving in the field.
Technologically savvy: comfortable using mobile applications for time‑keeping, reporting, and communication.
Compliance: must be 21 + and legally eligible to work in New York State.
