Inside Lighting Sales and Design Specialist Location: Central Wisconsin (flexible with ideal candidate)

Work Environment

Work closely with a small, collaborative team (2–3 people) to complete project and sales related tasks.

Position may be largely remote for experienced candidates.

Preference for candidates located near the Mosinee area for initial training and onboarding.

No physical office location; work is remote/home-based after training.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Prior experience in lighting design, lighting sales, or a related industry.

Working knowledge of AGI32 lighting design software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) a must.

Experience organizing files and collaborating in Google Drive.

Experience using ERP/CRM systems to create and manage jobs and contacts (experience with Odoo is a plus).

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Must be a self-starter and motivated to get tasks completed.

Ability to communicate professionally with internal team members as well as customers, contractors, and outside partners.

Responsibilities

Create and modify lighting designs using AGI32 lighting design software.

Assist in preparing accurate project quotes based on internally created or existing lighting designs and schedules.

Organize and maintain project documentation in Google Drive.

Create, update, and manage jobs and contacts in Odoo ERP/CRM.

Complete assigned tasks on time, accurately, and with minimal supervision.

Communicate clearly and effectively with peers, supervisors, customers, and contractors.

Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow projects through defined stages.

Continuously improve skills and efficiency in lighting design, quoting, and project coordination with our outside sales team and contractors.

As experience and proficiency grow, responsibilities may expand to include:

Knowledge and application of lighting design codes and regulations.

May eventually be provided the opportunity to pursue Lighting Certified (LC) credential through the NCQLP, to deepen knowledge of lighting codes, standards, and best practices.

A deeper understanding of lighting products and manufacturers.

Ability to source competitive, cost-effective products for project needs.

Increased ownership of project design, pricing, and coordination.
