Organization – Andaz Miami Beach Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting Mini Bar Attendants to join the hotel’s opening team. An art‑deco building and architectural landmark, it is the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid‑Beach. Opening in early 2025, the property boasts 287 guestrooms including 34 breathtaking suites and the only ocean‑view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor‑to‑ceiling windows, most with deep‑soaking tubs and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Unmatched amenities include a full‑service spa, a well‑equipped fitness center, a destination dining experience by José Andrés, two pools, and a Beach Club catering to the who’s‑who of Miami. Spanning 25,000 square feet of innovative indoor and outdoor event space, Andaz Miami Beach will become a landing spot for guests and locals seeking celebratory gatherings that embrace the city’s culture of music, art, and fashion.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

Communicating with guests concerning requests, inquiries, and information.

Maintaining the stock, cleanliness, appearance, and orderliness of in‑room honor bars using cloths, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents while extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.

Inventorying, tracking, and maintaining par levels of stock for honor bars.

Justifying and reporting sales with current stock levels on hand, daily.

Reporting any damages or maintenance issues.

Handling guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

Adhering to Lost and Found policy including key control.

Stocking and organizing honor bar supplies and honor bar supply closets or areas.

Maintaining cleanliness and efficiency of department operations by stocking workstations with supplies, completing engineering maintenance requests, and maintaining office equipment in accordance with department and hotel policies and procedures.

Providing exceptional customer service at all times by greeting each person encountered, using the guest’s name, making eye contact, smiling, and thanking each guest for their patronage in accordance with department and hotel standards and procedures.

Communicating services and amenities of the hotel to guests.

Legibly documenting all pertinent information in guest request log(s) and monitoring and updating the log book(s) throughout the shift.

Providing gracious and efficient telephone service as it relates to luxury telephone services; calls should be answered promptly, within three rings, knowledgeably, and always ensuring complete and accurate information.

Anticipating guests’ needs, responding promptly, and acknowledging all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.

Maintaining complete knowledge of and complying with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.

Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.

Providing back‑up support to houseman.

Assisting with shipping and receiving functions.

Keeping the lobby and corridor areas clean and well organized.

Qualifications

Prior experience as an honor bar attendant in a four‑star environment.

Certification in CPR.

Knowledge of proper equipment usage and repair.

Sufficient knowledge of the local area to direct guest inquiries.

Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow‑through courtesy, cooperativeness, and with a minimum of supervision.

High school diploma or GED. Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, write) with guests, coworkers, and management and interpret hotel manuals and documents; additional languages preferred.
