Whatyou’lldo:
Createbuilding andurban-scaleconcepts and clearly communicate them
Develop diagrams, infographics, plans, sections, and presentation materials to support compelling narratives
Use advanced visualization tools and techniques to enhance storytelling and design clarity
Supportcommunityengagement efforts, including preparing materials andparticipatingat workshops or community meetings
Contribute to strategic planning and visioning documents, including master plans, design guidelines, or development frameworks
Research & Analysis
Conduct precedent and contextual research to informmassing, program, and site strategy
Utilize GIS and analytical tools to evaluate context, explore options, and inform design direction
Research and interpret zoning codes, regulations, and site constraints to guide concept development
Analyze policy and planning frameworks toidentifydesign opportunities and constraints
Sustainability & Innovation
Collaborate on sustainability-focused design strategies and explore environmentally responsive solutions
Integrate smart city principles and emerging technologies into project approaches
Process & Execution
Support the full project lifecycle—from early visioning and site analysis through documentation and delivery
Participate in internal, consultant, and client-facingcoordination anddesign presentations
Work closely with project leadership to ensure quality, timeliness, and alignment with design goals
Qualifications:
2+ Years professional experience
Bachelor’sand/orgraduatedegree in Architecture, Planning, Landscapeor Urban Design
Strong portfolio of work, across a range of project types and geographies
Experience in the Middle East region is preferred
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficiencyin Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and AutoCAD
Familiarity with Grasshopper,Enscape, and GIS tools is a plus

This position requires 3 days of on-site work per week at our Charlestown, MA office
The compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $90,000, as defined by CBT’s compensation structure. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and alignment with internal peers.
