Leads and manages front line Supervisors and directs activities for all production personnel.# # Minimum Requirements and Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business discipline.* 5 – 7 Years progressive years in operations with Supply Chain/Production Control & Manufacturing Operations.* Background with Lean manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures.* Strong leadership skills and management experience.* Working knowledge and understanding of inventory control systems* Strong mathematical skills* Good interpersonal skills* Must be a good communicator both written and verbal* Must be able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment* Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing Experience / Training# # Major Role Responsibilities:* Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and that the plant operates in full compliance with OSHA standards.* Champion a safety-first culture and monitor adherence across production teams.* Oversee the full production process, ensuring schedules, sequencing, and production plans are executed effectively.* Coordinate all production control, operations planning, and capacity management based on equipment, materials, and staffing availability.* Direct and support production personnel in daily operations to achieve plant goals.* Monitor scrap, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.* Oversee all packaging and labeling requirements.* Champion the GEMBA process and review team performance in safety, scrap, quality, cost, and efficiency; implement corrective measures as needed.* Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing concepts, tools, and techniques.* Train and coach production teams on lean principles and problem‑solving methods.* Analyze root causes and implement countermeasures to eliminate issues and improve efficiency.* Track, report, and improve KPI performance to support operational goals.* Lead and oversee all physical inventory activities.* Prepare and maintain production reports, inventory documentation, and personnel records.* Work closely with Warehouse personnel to improve line fill, delivery metrics, and service levels.* May oversee or collaborate with other plant functions such as purchasing, maintenance, inventory control, planning, and replenishment.* Assist in preparing the annual departmental budget.* Manage spending within approved budget parameters and pursue cost‑saving opportunities that add operational value.* Develop, motivate, and manage staff while promoting teamwork, cooperation, and a positive attitude toward company goals.* Foster a collaborative, self-directed work environment.* Implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and engagement.* Address personnel matters—including attendance, time reporting, evaluations, training needs, and disciplinary actions—in partnership with Human Resources.* Maintain accurate production reports, KPI performance data, and required operational documentation.* Provide timely updates to leadership regarding performance, issues, and improvement opportunities.# Additional Duties* Additional duties as assigned, not determined at the time of hire.# Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions* Employees will work in environments that may include exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, noise, humidity.* Personal Protective Equipment is required when performing work, safety toed shoes, hearing protection, gloves, etc. while on the manufacturing floor.* May include the need to lift and move up to 50 lbs.* Ability to sit for long periods of time.* Ability to walk for long distances.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
