Miscellaneous Steel Erector Foreman

About Metalcrafters is a professional miscellaneous metal fabrication company focused on heavy duty commercial steel fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities The Foreman supervises and coordinates the installation of non-structural steel components such as stairs, handrails, ladders, and platforms. Key duties include:
Reading and interpreting blueprints
Managing crews and ensuring quality and safety compliance
Coordinating with project managers and other trades
Troubleshooting installation issues
Leading the installation tasks and training crew members
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred
Proficient welding skills (Stick or MIG welding) or equivalent experience
Experience with steel erection, including use of power tools, torches, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools
Experience maneuvering reach lifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts
Leadership skills and hands‑on experience with steel erection
Strong familiarity with construction safety protocols
