Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities
Report to Maintenance Director/Supervisor
Make minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers, change filters on HVAC equipment, lifts, and stock supplies.
Take care of tools and equipment.
Operate in the TELS platform system for all Life Safety, regulatory, and daily tasks.
Daily Pay Available**
Maintenance Assistant Requirements
Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.
Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
Completion of orientation required by company policy.
Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
Show satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three (3) days of hire.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year experience in maintenance.
Must be able to use and operate various equipment: garden tools, snow removal tools, carpenter tools, plumbing tools, painting tools, electrical tools, heating and cooling tools, housekeeping tools, appliance repair tools, general maintenance tools, van, truck, ladder, etc.
