Base pay range $16.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Position Summary Process all shipping and receiving of parts and related items for the company and its customers. Perform work in an efficient and accurate manner to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process and track all parts orders received at the site location.
Gather parts and materials to be shipped on a daily basis.
Ship and track all deliveries.
Keep service manager informed on special parts orders, shortages and malfunctions.
Maintain a current knowledge of products, technology and models.
Perform parts inspections as required for quality control.
Help maintain cleanliness, neatness of shipping and receiving area.
Help control expenses and produce as much quality work as possible.
Load/unload incoming parts shipments.
Assist at the parts counter as needed.
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Customer Service Responsibilities
Ensure every customer is satisfied with the products, services and support of all staff.
Resolve customers concerns efficiently and effectively.
Promote a positive attitude at all times.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Exhibit Birkey's high level of customer service on a daily basis.
Acknowledge appreciation of clients and customers.
