MARKETING COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
SLED-Specific Marketing and Business Development Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Assist Marketing Manager in all aspects of marketing and business development as required
• Monitor sources of industry-related market information
• Gather research data related to clients; competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant
corporate experience
• Monitor online and print sources, including newspapers, magazines, and blogs
• Maintain list of relevant resources and achieve proficiency in understanding applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliant RFQ/RFP responses
• Prepare or assemble written and visual information for client presentations
• Maintain scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements and status
• Assist in developing pursuit plans and client outreach activities ahead of RFP release
• Help to produce SOQs/proposals, including editing and graphics; prepare for digital and/or print reproduction
• Identify and monitor SOQ/proposal criteria, ensure response is fully compliant
• Handle production and arrange for on-time delivery of SOQs/proposals
• Maintain scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements
• Gather content from team and consultants as needed
• Track pre-submittal meeting schedules and attendees, identify decision-makers
• Record and distribute notes from pre-submittal and public sector meetings
• Maintain systems to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel,
projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists
• Help manage seller-doer schedules to maintain regular client interactions
General Marketing Responsibilities
• Monitor sources of industry-related market information
• Gather research data related to competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience

• Contribute to CRM maintenance and data entry related to clients, consultants, personnel, and mailing lists; maintain content library, including prior proposals, boilerplates, and visuals
• Maintain online presence, including social media, website, and email
• Embrace and implement brand standards
• Assist with graphics, writing, and proofreading
• Track media kits and opportunity deadlines; maintain list of editorial contacts and publications
• Handle requested edits to press releases and article drafts
• Track publication, association, and community event postings
• Ensure compliance with copyright laws and photographer usage rights
• Identify images related to content
• Coordinate awards competition entries; ensure compliance with award requirements
• Coordinate firm/company special events
• Maintain relationships with specialized consultants; delegate and coordinate work for special projects
• Maintain company registrations, track professional staff licensure list or list of industry involvements
by staff
• Maintain corporate memberships in industry and client organizations
Capabilities
