Companion Caregiver Needed in East Longmeadow
Mrs. M in East Longmeadow is looking for a companion caregiver to provide transportation around town to help her run some errands: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 11am-2pm. She does have a few pets in her home; so if you are an animal-lover and would enjoy providing meaningful companionship to this sweet lady, please apply to start ASAP! Our elderly clients need help around their homes with personal care, palliative care, respite care, meal preparation and feeding, mobility assistance and transfers, light housekeeping duties, transportation to and from appointments, and companionship. Our work culture is top notch. We have many caregivers that have been with us for several years. Requirements:
At least: either 1+ years of experience in direct care, nursing students, or newly certified Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English & communicate verbally with clients, families, co-workers, and administrative staff Reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and ability to add Business Class 30 to insurance (we will reimburse up to $50/year) Two valid forms of identification Willing to submit to background checks At least 2 professional references (not friends) Willing to accept at least 1 shift e/o weekend * We work with you to create a mutually acceptable work/client schedule. Work as much as 40 hours per week or as little as 4 hours per week. Flexibility is our best benefit! Compensation: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
