Fixed Income plays a critical role in supporting the fixed income sales and trading team by ensuring smooth trade settlement, maintaining client accounts, and delivering high-quality administrative and client service support. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions Monitor and ensure timely settlement of all fixed income trades. Verify trade confirmations and proactively resolve discrepancies with clients and back office. Track and resolve failed trades; notify clients of good fails and delivery issues. Open and maintain client accounts in internal systems and Bloomberg; follow up on required documentation. Update account information and ensure compliance with CIP and DARQ procedures. Assist sales team with bids, offers, and orders via phone or Bloomberg when needed. Process client requests for letters, reports, and investment documentation. Coordinate travel arrangements and complete expense reports for sales team. Monitor commissions and assist with reporting. Respond to client inquiries and provide requested materials such as confirmations and prospectuses. Enter trades into Bloomberg and other internal systems. Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key. Education High School Diploma (required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred) Work Experience 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services or trading support. (preferred) Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. (required) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. (required) Licenses and Certifications FINRA License S7 within 180 Days (required) FINRA License S63 within 180 Days (required) Skills Deep understanding of fixed income trade lifecycle and settlement processes. Strong interpersonal skills and responsiveness to client needs. Demonstrates awareness of operational and compliance risks and takes proactive steps to mitigate them. Works effectively with internal partners including traders, salespeople, and operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing interactions. Ability to resolve trade discrepancies and account issues efficiently. Capable of managing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment. Skilled in Bloomberg, Pershing, Microsoft Office Suite, and trading platforms. Understands market dynamics and how they impact trade execution and client portfolios. Familiar with risk controls and procedures related to trade settlement and client onboarding. Knowledge of compliance requirements including CIP, DARQ, and documentation standards. Awareness of account structures and operational workflows in institutional finance. Experienced in managing travel, expenses, and internal reporting for sales teams. Capable of preparing and delivering clear, professional materials for internal and client use. Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision. Work Location Category Hybrid (Sales) COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $24.52 - $37.50 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
