Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays overnights: 7pm-7am Can take on other clients to achieve desired weekly hours. Mrs. M is looking for overnight help in her home. She needs full assist with personal care during the night. Please consider helping this sweet lady in South Hadley! Requirements

At least: either 1+ years of experience in direct care, nursing students, or newly certified Experience with elder personal care: toileting, bathing, etc. Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English & communicate verbally with clients, families, co-workers, and administrative staff Reliable transportation Two valid forms of identification Willing to submit to background checks At least 2 professional references (not friends) Willing to accept at least 1 shift e/o weekend * We work with you to create a mutually acceptable work/client schedule. Work as much as 40 hours per week or as little as 4 hours per week. Flexibility is our best benefit! Services span from 1 hour visits to 24/7 care. We service Southampton, Westfield, Southwick, Holyoke, West Springfield, Agawam, Chicopee, Springfield, Indian Orchard, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Ludlow, Feeding Hills and Montgomery. The franchise covers the entire Greater Springfield Area and most of the Lower Pioneer Valley region. Visiting Angels of West Springfield has official accreditation from the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts. We have also received Home Care Pulse's award for Best of Home Care - Provider of Choice every year since 2015. We are currently hiring caregivers! Basic job requirements include: Current US driver's license Car 1 year of caregiving experience Ability to pass a background check Strong ability to read, write, and speak English, including: Read ADLs and personal care instructions Communicate verbally with clients and families Write shift notes to update the family, office, and other caregivers Punctuality and reliability Compassionate and caring heart Patience and willingness to learn new skills *Certifications are welcome (CNA, HHA, etc.) but not required. We do offer training and mentorship programs to new caregivers.
