Job Opening: 5-Axis CNC Programmer
Selectek has an immediate opening for an experienced 5-Axis CNC Programmer. This role involves programming and machining complex parts using Mastercam, primarily on 5-axis CNC equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a variety of materials and geometries. Responsibilities: Create and write CNC programs using Mastercam, primarily for 5-axis machining Interpret blueprints and 3D CAD models to develop accurate machining strategies Program and machine parts for:
Milling Trimming Drilling Rapid prototyping
Work with a variety of materials including composites, foam, metal, wood, structures, and assemblies Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements: Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience 5-axis CNC programming experience Proficiency with Mastercam Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models Hands-on machining experience (programming + running parts) Pay:
