About the Role As a Senior Consulting Manager, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise‑class IT/OT systems. You’ll work closely with clients to secure, integrate, and maximize the value of their technology investments—while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role blends technical depth with strategic advisory and leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Client Advisory & Strategy
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance on IT/OT integration, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, HIPAA, ISO).
Analyze business processes and develop digital transformation roadmaps that align with client goals.
Support pre‑sales activities including technical scoping, solution design, and proposal development.
Technical Leadership
Oversee or support the design and implementation of IT/OT solutions tailored to the life sciences sector, including but not limited to LIMS, MES, manufacturing/filling lines, and ERP systems.
Perform in-depth analysis of the architecture and infrastructure of enterprise IT and OT industrial control systems (SCADA, DCS, DMS, IIoT).
Design and implement cybersecurity solutions for industrial control systems.
Develop IC/OT security frameworks based on industry best practices and applicable international/national standards.
Implement and manage security controls to protect IT and OT systems from cyber threats.
Provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs for clients.
Understand and develop SDLC and technical validation documentation, and execute testing where appropriate.
Assist in the management and analysis of data generated from IT and OT systems to support client decision‑making.
Project & Team Management
Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal training and knowledge‑sharing.
Provide executive oversight and tactical leadership across project portfolios—balancing PMO responsibilities with direct project management to ensure financial discipline, schedule adherence, and exceptional client communication.
Operational Execution
Lead teams engaged in technical support and troubleshooting for IT and OT systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Assist in troubleshooting, problem, and issue management as a SME or as a strategic resource.
Review project documentation for IT and OT systems, including user manuals, SOPs, and validation protocols that are produced by team members and assist in providing feedback for improvement and in remediation of customer comments.
Note:
This is a documentation‑heavy role requiring precision and consistency.
Interface with customers to discuss any implementation or documentation feedback, address problems, and work through issue resolution as a trusted advisor.

Work Environment & Travel Expectations
This role requires an on‑site presence at either Arc Technologies Group (ATG) offices or client facilities.
Travel may involve extended commutes to customer facilities of up to 70 miles each way or weekly trips to customer sites via air travel.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s (BSc/BA) degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4–12 years of experience in IT consulting (internal or external), preferably within the life sciences industry.
Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems such as Active Directory, IAM, ERP, etc.
Knowledge of operational technology (OT) including IIoT, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, etc.
Strong understanding and deep experience with enterprise IT and OT cybersecurity architecture and frameworks.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and think critically to analyze and remediate root causes.
Experience in developing high‑performing talent.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Willingness and ability to commute up to 70 miles each way per day to client sites or to travel routinely.
Must provide reliable personal transportation.
BYOD required: Employees must use a personal mobile device for work communications (e.g., MS Teams, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (MSc/MBA) in a relevant field.
Experience with:
cGxP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, HIPAA
ITIL Framework
AI/ML, database management, and orchestration/automation technologies
Experience with large scale IT and OT projects
