Build your future with us The Management Liability department is seeking a new field representative for our
Minnesota
territory to partner with producers to solicit, underwrite and price new and renewal management liability business.
Positions serving territories away from our headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio may be fully remote.
The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000 annually.
The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
determine individual risk acceptability, pricing, coverage, terms and conditions
develop, analyze and evaluate information and exposures for complex risks
achieve production and loss ratio goals within assigned regional territory
work independently with a high level of authority and judgment
determine the need for and secure appropriate reinsurance on individual accounts
mentor and train underwriters and underwriting assistants
develop successful business relationships with producers and reinsurers
display a mastery of agency and account presentations by communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
Be equipped with:
proficient use of Microsoft®Word, Excel and Outlook a plus
effective written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiating skills
strong leadership skills in a team environment
organized, analytical, efficient, decisive and task-oriented
well-developed problem-solving techniques
willing and able to assume special functions, roles and responsibilities
prior management liability underwriting experience of at least three years is preferred
candidates with a carrier background will be given preference
Other:
complete training is provided in Cincinnati, OH, prior to deployment to regional territory
requires travel within assigned territory that may include some overnight stays
Bring education or experience from:
a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is desired
