Assistant Property Manager Job Type: Full-Time Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 PM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, with a 1-hour break Salary: $1,000 per month We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of a U.S.-based apartment portfolio. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AppFolio, particularly in managing U.S. apartment buildings. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle tenant relations, leasing processes, and administrative support remotely. Key Responsibilities
Assist with leasing, tenant communications, and rent collection using AppFolio Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up with vendors and residents Support application processing, tenant screening, and lease preparation Manage digital records, notices, and reports with accuracy and timeliness Maintain regular communication with the property management team and residents Monitor and update property data and ensure system accuracy in AppFolio Help ensure compliance with company policies and rental regulations Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in U.S. property management or a similar role Proficient in AppFolio with experience in apartment building operations Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent organizational and time management skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently Familiarity with U.S. leasing procedures and property management best practices is a plus
