We are known for legendary service and quality products. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently load and unload building materials from commercial motor vehicle. Travel legally and safely to destinations through public and private roads. Complete mileage and fuel usage reports. Demonstrate commitment to on-time and in-full deliveries. Use route planning and optimization tools. Take photos of delivered shipments after each delivery. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all equipment. Maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors. Conduct daily safety audits and weekly brake inspections; report malfunctioning equipment as required. Report all accidents or incidents promptly. Update drivers qualification file annually. Find productive work during downtime. Keep truck supplied, organized, and clean. Wear appropriate work attire. Check load accuracy. Manage job site conditions and communicate proactively. Provide required paperwork and scanning for dispatch. Learn product applications for end users. Demonstrate knowledge of tie-down rules and regulations. Understand weight, height, and length limits. Ensure all transported material has invoice or Material Returns Form. Apply best practices for efficient loading, strapping, and driving.
Qualifications
Class B CDL or higher. 21 years old or older. Current DOT medical card. Acceptable driving record. Ability to speak, write, and read English. Knowledge of vehicle safety audits and reporting required by federal and state regulations. Time and route management skills. Open and transparent communication. Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications. Driving experience within 50-mile radius of primary location preferred.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to stoop, bend, and walk.
