Business Development Representative Annapolis It’s an exciting time at Grounds Guys Annapolis! Our phone rings with customers who want to spend more of their time with their friends and family outdoors. They want guest-ready lawns and landscapes without the hassle of weeding, pruning, keeping up with fast-growing grass, wondering if it’s time to water or fertilize, or if they’ve picked the right plant. We give clients their weekends back and delight in delivering the best quality landscape and lawn care to residential and commercial customers throughout Maryland, DC, and Virginia. We are looking for our next Business Development Representative! This position is responsible for developing long-term relationships with existing customers, managing and responding to customer inquiries, pursuing sales leads, creating estimates, expanding Ground Guys scope of services within customer accounts, and renewing client contracts.

Responsibilities

Act as the point of contact and handle customer’s individual needs

Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customer in a timely manner

Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks

Report on the status of accounts and transactions using the company CRM

Conduct sales calls to potential customers and referral sources

Visit client sites, assess the scope of work, and generate accurate estimates utilizing the company CRM

Reach monthly sales targets, aligned with company objectives

Qualifications

General experience in the field of landscape design and lawn care

Ability to comfortably handle difficult clients or situations while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor

Computer literate, with a working knowledge of spreadsheet applications and business software

Team player who can work independently

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time

A problem-solving attitude

Self-motivated and results oriented

Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
