The Director of Sales and Operations for NM SGEP provides strategic planning services to the lottery, utilizing insights and analytics. Responsibilities include contract compliance, strategy development, delivering proposed services, P&L management, personnel accountability, and ensuring site operations align with Scientific Games' core values, mission, ethical guidelines, and policies.
Key duties involve:
- Collaborating with the lottery to develop strategic sales plans aligned with KPIs and driving sustainable growth.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork to achieve business goals.
- Working with SG SAM to develop and execute instant product objectives to maximize revenues.
- Providing financial management, reporting, and accurate forecasting for site P&Ls and capital budgets.
- Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitoring KPIs to assess operational performance and efficiency improvements.
- Providing operational direction across all business areas, including operations, order fulfillment, site maintenance, and product development.
- Developing cost-reduction and efficiency strategies to maximize profitability.
- Providing strategic updates and recommendations to senior leadership based on insights.
- Ensuring contractual obligations are met by the site team.
- Managing project schedules within deadlines and budgets.
- Overseeing personnel development at the site.
- Escalating and following up on customer requests requiring additional support or scope adjustments.
- Ensuring ongoing contract compliance.
- Collaborating with government relations on regulatory updates impacting the business.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Experience: 2+ years managing a team; 8+ years in related work.
Skills and Qualifications: Financial management, budgeting, strong communication, analytical skills, strategic thinking, proficiency in MS Office.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, operate a computer, with vision capabilities for close and distance vision.
Work Conditions: Must meet regulatory requirements for gaming and lottery industries, including background checks and licensing as applicable.
