Web Designer Overview We are seeking a Web Designer with strong Shopify experience to manage, build, and maintain multiple Shopify websites. This role is ideal for someone who is design-driven, highly organized, and comfortable balancing visual design with hands-on site execution. This is not a purely conceptual design role—you will be actively working within Shopify, customizing themes, managing content, and ensuring multiple sites run smoothly and efficiently. Self-taught designers are absolutely welcome. A strong design background is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Shopify Website Design & Management Design, build, and maintain multiple Shopify websites Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, and CSS Make layout, styling, and structural updates directly within Shopify Manage Shopify apps and theme settings as needed Design & User Experience Create clean, modern, conversion-focused designs Ensure visual and brand consistency across all websites Optimize layouts for both desktop and mobile experiences Design and implement landing pages, promotions, and ongoing site updates Content & Site Maintenance Upload and manage products, collections, images, and site content Maintain site navigation, menus, and overall structure Coordinate frequent updates across multiple stores Troubleshoot and resolve basic website issues Required Skills & Experience Must-Have Qualifications Hands-on experience with Shopify theme customization and site management Strong multitasking and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple websites simultaneously Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively Strongly Preferred Design background (formal education or self-taught) Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy Experience working in live ecommerce environments Ideal Candidate Traits Self-motivated and reliable Highly organized and deadline-driven Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once Design-forward with a strong execution mindset Takes ownership and pride in their work
