Responsibilities Assist with developing, presenting and executing strategic and tactical communications/public relations campaigns that lead business outcomes
Collaborate with internal and external Chase marketing support teams (events, social, brand/advertising, video, content), functional groups (e.g., Legal, Controls), business leaders, external partners and support agencies to execute campaigns and tell a holistic story across a variety of channels
Conduct proactive media outreach, assist with earned influencer engagement programs and manage media and influencers at cardmember events and experiences
Draft a variety of communications materials, from media pitches to press releases to social media posts / responses
Help to oversee and collaborate with communications/PR agency on campaign planning, execution and measurement
Protect and enhance the reputation of the firm - both externally and among employees
Coordinate with internal communications team members to pull through meaningful storylines within Chase
Require domestic travel
Requirements 4+ years of experience in a communications/PR or marketing role
Proven experience in proactive and reactive media relations, and proactively executing public relations campaigns that resulted in positive press coverage and supported business results
Experience working in social media management and with influencers; fluency across social media and other multi-media channels, including in managing social media messaging
Experience working in the financial services, credit cards, travel or consumer product industries; subject matter expertise in financial, lifestyle press and consumer PR
Excellent writing and editing skills; experience building meaningful narratives and storylines
Strong relationship building and collaborative decision-making skills; the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with teams, internal stakeholders / senior leaders and external partners
Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with executives, peers and other functional groups across the company
High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrating respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and taking accountability / accepting responsibility
Preferred Experience working in a large company
Experience in a PR agency setting
Executive communications experience – consulting directly with an executive/leaders
Experience working on an integrated marketing team
