Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a creative and driven Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator to help tell our story and expand our reach. This role will plan, create, and share content that celebrates our animals, engages the community, and strengthens awareness of our mission. The position also supports donor stewardship, campaign initiatives, and marketing outreach to elevate Nate’s Honor’s visibility and community impact throughout the region. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with an eye for design, a passion for animal welfare, and the ability to bring ideas to life across digital, print, and social platforms.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute marketing campaigns that promote adoptions, events, and community programs.
Create engaging written and visual content for social media, email newsletters, our website, and other communication channels.
Design graphics and visual assets for digital and print use, including flyers, event materials, signage, and digital screens around the campus.
Update on‑site TV and digital displays with current messaging, adoptable pets, and event information.
Capture photos, videos, and stories that highlight the animals, people, and impact behind Nate’s mission.
Maintain consistent branding, tone, and visual identity across all materials.
Monitor and report on engagement metrics to refine communication strategies.
Create marketing content and visuals that inspire community giving and donor participation. Support fundraising efforts by assisting with donor engagement.
Work closely with internal teams to promote programs, volunteer opportunities, and events.
Collaborate with local businesses, media partners, and community groups to amplify awareness.
Support the planning and promotion of events that engage the public and celebrate our mission.
Pitch in wherever needed to help move creative projects forward and meet deadlines.
Who You Are
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related creative work (nonprofit or animal welfare experience a plus).
Skilled in graphic design and familiar with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
Strong writer and storyteller who can tailor tone and message for different audiences.
Comfortable managing social media platforms, email campaigns, and website updates.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects.
Collaborative, proactive, and enthusiastic about working in a mission‑driven environment.
Passionate about animal welfare and eager to connect others to our cause.
Must be willing to work a full‑time schedule – Tuesday through Saturday – 8am to 5pm.
