Activity Assistant

Homestead of Olathe Memory Care is looking for dedicated Activities Assistant! This person performs duties involving the implementation of an activity program, which meets physical, mental, psychosocial needs and interests of residents. As an activities assistant, you will work under the general supervision of the the director to: Assist plan activities to meet resident’s specific needs, to include large group, small group, and individual participation as scheduled. Maintain documentation as required by Kansas and Federal regulations and attendance book. Responsible for initial assessment, picture and front name board. Compose monthly contributions, including the monthly Activities calendar, pass out newsletter, post daily contributions on menu board, date board and pass out nametags. Assist during dining times Some holiday and or weekend may be required assist with staff birthdays by handling cards, balloons as well as resident celebration each month. Previous memory care a plus Must be a licensed CNA in the state of KS additional duties as directed by supervisor Come join our team today as an activities assistant today!
