Engage is seeking part-time staff to be Life Coaches in Cedar City, UT. The current opening is for primarily evening shifts (4pm to 11pm) and weekend shifts (11 am to 4pm or 4pm to 11pm on Saturday and Sunday ).
The ideal candidate is relationally minded and believes through connection we thrive. A confident personality who enjoys working side by side with struggling college age adults is a must. We’re looking for engaging individuals that can help cultivate and be actively contributing to an environment that promotes security, exploration and connection. Having a growth mindset is more important than already being good at all the job requirements, being willing to learn and try new skills is the key.
Who We Are
Engage is a young adult transition program located footsteps away from Southern Utah University in Cedar City. We are a therapeutic environment for young adults struggling with attachment distress and relational trauma that is often creating emotional and relationship challenges. Engage’s clinically supported environment is driven by principles of attachment while understanding the developmental needs of young adults. Through Engage’s therapists and certified life coaches young adults can experience stronger emotional connections and develop new responses to familiar relationships challenges. What This Role Will Offer You
At Engage, you’ll receive ongoing coaching and professional development, including training in attachment theory and supporting neurodiverse young adults. You’ll be at the forefront of helping young adults build confidence, develop independence, and navigate life’s challenges. As you mentor others, you’ll also be challenged to push your own personal and professional growth. After a year or more at Engage, you’ll be well-positioned for graduate school, mental health careers, inpatient treatment roles, and beyond. Ideal Candidates Attributes

Reports to the Program Director. Provides direct observation and support to Engage’s young adults. Works side-by-side and actively participates with young adults in their daily schedule and activities, such as yoga, community service, and physical exercise. In conjunction with the leadership team, responds to and supports clients in crisis. Works collaboratively with therapists, case managers, other life coaches, and the Cedar City community. Conducts weekly Life Coaching sessions with assigned clients. Participates in weekly trainings and team meetings. Committed to empowering young adults, particularly those who are neurodiverse or struggle with executive functioning, by teaching essential life skills, including communication, problem-solving, decision-making, financial management, and interpersonal skills. Mentors and coaches college-age students with depression and anxiety to help them gain confidence, build independence, and develop essential life skills. Employment Requirements
