Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
Interacting with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner
Responsible for complete set‑up, stocking and service of assigned area; sets, cleans, and resets tables
Removing dirty dishes, glassware, flatware, and soiled linens from tables and countertops, transports to dish area
Monitoringand replenishing of all stock items in assigned area in a neat, accurate and timely fashion
Refilling water glasses, coffee cups, butter/condiments, bread, and carrying order to tables as needed
Making coffee or tea as needed
Ensuring assigned work area is neat, clean and sanitized throughout shift by wiping tables, counter areas, beverage stations, sinks, and sweeping and mopping floors as required to maintain a clean and safe work station
Partnering with culinary team and server to work as a team to ensure coordinated work flow during shift to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction
Maintaining all equipment in proper fashion (coffee machines, soda and juice dispensers, ice bins), service stations, and refrigerators
Accountable for meeting or exceeding all State and company sanitation requirements (ServSafe)
Adhering to regulatory, safety, departmental and company policies
Supporting safety and accident prevention programs (non slip footwear, proper lifting)
Presenting oneself as a credit to Company and encourages others to do the same
Performing all other related and compatible duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 21 years of age
Six months experience in food service preferred
Knowledgeable of food and alcoholic beverages
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English
Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co‑workers and guests in a fast‑paced environment
Able to stand and walk for entire shift
Must be able to lift trays of food above shoulder level for a distance of up to fifty yards
Tolerate areas of cold and high temperature in excess of 115 degrees
Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
Must be able to tolerate areas containing high noise levels and bright lights
Successful or better performance against Performance Appraisal Standards
Teamwork – ability to work collaboratively within the outlet for effective day to day operations
Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements
Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment
Knowledge of and compliance with department, property and company policies and procedures
Maintain health department standards and regulations – inspection scores should be at or above standards. Cleanliness of restaurant
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
