Activity Aide
– Avantara Huron
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Activity Aides to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Avantara Huron. The role is vital in maintaining the emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing companionship, encouraging participation in activities, and ensuring a high standard of care.
Responsibilities
Interact with residents to provide companionship and support.
Encourage residents to participate in activities.
Assist with scheduling entertainment such as movies.
Plan and organize parties, games, and crafts.
Accompany residents on activities outside the facility.
Maintain a positive and caring environment for all residents.
Qualifications
High school diploma or 10th grade education.
Prior experience as an Activity Aide in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.
Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
