Responsibilities

Deliver incredible customer service by preparing ingredients and creating high‑quality meals

Follow recipes, use proper knife skills, and apply cooking techniques to ensure consistency

Effectively multitask and balance prep work while ensuring meals are prepared in a timely manner

Understand how products look and taste at their peak of perfection

Assist with ordering to help maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimize waste

Requirements

1+ years of experience working in a production kitchen

Prep work experience

Experience working as a line cook

Food preparation experience

Experience with prep work and a la carte cooking

Experience working as a Prep Cook / apprentice cook

Associate - Culinary Arts

Work Environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes standing, walking for prolonged periods of time without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, frequent lifting, and occasional heavy lifting, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast‑paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 5–10 pounds with a maximum weight lifted to 50 pounds occasionally. Upper extremity repetition is moderately high and trunk movement involves moderately high twisting, bending, and pivoting.

May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors with exposure to cold temperatures (33–55°F) and near ovens and hot equipment (exceeds 135°F). Basic tools and equipment used include common cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment, ovens, and stove.
