Following a property-wide renovation, The Diplomat enters its next era—transitioning into Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort. The Food and Beverage team is elevating its craft to match the sophistication and energy of our refreshed restaurants and reimagined beachfront destination.
Playa is the vibrant soul of The Diplomat’s beachfront, a bar and grill inspired by the Latin rhythms of Southern Florida. We are seeking a Cook II to join our exceptional team! We are seeking an energetic individual who is career driven, with a positive approach to hospitality.
Ideal Candidate
Solidified knowledge of food and beverage operations
Previous experience in a high-volume, professional atmosphere
Detail-oriented approach to work
Experience working in a time-sensitive atmosphere

Responsibilities
Prepare cold food items including, but not limited to, salads, fruits, dressings, fish items and appetizers, according to designated recipes and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
Ensure knowledge of menu and food products
Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
