Customer Delivery Specialist I Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, has an immediate need for a Customer Delivery Specialist I to join its logistics team located in Ellwood City. You’ll be responsible for providing customer delivery of chemicals. As a DOT driving professional, you’ll safely operate a diesel, multi‑geared bobtail truck/pup and/or tractor‑trailer combination vehicle over congested city highways, rolling and mountainous terrain and rural roads. You will also perform preventative maintenance on any vehicle used to deliver chemicals to customers, plants and warehouse locations.

Responsibilities
Safely operate vehicles including delivery trucks, tank trunks, and over‑the‑road trucks
Package/Dry Van delivery of Hazmat and Acrylic products
Work approximately 55–56 hours per week on average
Load trailers and schedule daily runs to meet customer delivery requirements
Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections
Maintain accurate up‑to‑date delivery location maps and operate in accordance with DOT regulations governing transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with homeland security requirements and guidelines
Maintain driver’s hours of service by using an electronic logging device and paper log book reporting
Maintain regular communication with sales and supervisor to report field problems and/or safety hazards
Wear appropriate safety gear at all times during delivery operations
Keep current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills
Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment
Inside Delivery, "Dock Drop‑offs", TLM Maintenance, Loading Trucks, Pre‑Trips and Post‑Trips, Equipment Inventory, and Supply Ordering
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
Ability to deliver internationally
2 years of commercial driving experience
2 years of acceptable motor vehicle record
Willingness to travel Monday–Friday, home on weekends and holidays
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Safety – follows all rules/procedures, utilizes Stop Work Authority, reports all incidents

Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating forklifts, drum dollies, trailer hoists, chemical pumps, hoses, meters, printers, and gauges
Experience handling products in various package types including bulk, drums, Porta‑Feeds, and mini/micro‑feed units
Ability to back straight trucks, semi‑trucks, and trailers into narrow passages through expensive industrial equipment
Knowledge of equipment compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations governing transportation of hazardous materials
