The California Qualifying Houses offer young women a normalized high school experience while developing transition and independent living skills using our Integrated Care Model program. This unique program offers students opportunities for positive change and unlimited potential for achievement. The Q-House has served this population since 1984.
Pay : Starting at $21 per hour. $1,000 Sign-on Bonus ($500 at three months and $500 at six months)
*Free staff housing on workdays

What you will do:
As a Youth Care Worker you will provide safety, around-the-clock supervision, mediation, crisis management, and social, educational, and recreational support while following the daily schedule. You will be responsible for monitoring and documenting client behaviors and activities. Transport youth in company vehicles. Communicate any youth-related concerns, behavior changes, emotions, academic progress, and their overall disposition to ensure the treatment plan is adjusted to meet the youth's success.
To be considered you should:
Be empathetic, patient, consistent, compassionate, have an honest work ethic, and treat others with respect
Be at least 21 years of age
Have a bachelor’s degree or 12 Semester Units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Psychology
One year of previous experience employed as a full-time staff at a group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
Schedule:
3/2/2/3 ~ 12 hours shift
