Line Cook Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items efficiently per standards and instructions. Pre‑portion foods, stock line stations, and maintain a clean, sanitary work area. Follow proper plate presentation, garnish setup, and recipe specifications. Assist with food prep assignments during off‑peak periods. Close the kitchen properly, following the closing checklist and assisting others as needed. Work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Education & Experience
At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity. Similar schooling experience, with or without a degree/certification, acceptable. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Food Handlers or ServSafe certification required. Physical Demands
The role requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to reach, lift, and move up to 50 pounds. The employee must occasionally stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear, and move, set up and tear down kitchen or food and beverage equipment.
