General Manager – Big Easy Ranch Job Summary: The General Manager assumes campus-wide management and leadership of the Club’s food and beverage operations. Direct reports include the Executive Chef and F&B managers. The role ensures outstanding quality of service and products for members and guests, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facilities maintenance across the clubhouse and all F&B outlets. This includes proper accounting of sales, product transfers, employee scheduling, and payroll. The General Manager provides continuous training and leadership to service team members in the clubhouse restaurants and bars, works closely with the Private Event sales team, purchasing and accounting departments, lodging, and all club leaders and associates. The position includes management on duty (MOD) responsibilities, consistent professional conduct, and proper dress in line with club standards.

Essential Functions

Lead daily operations across all dining venues and events

Hire, train, schedule, and mentor F&B staff

Maintain strong on‑floor presence and member engagement

Partner with the Executive Chef on programming and execution

Oversee BEOs, room set‑ups, and event flow

Manage wine and beverage programs, inventories, and purchasing

Ensure safety, sanitation, and facility readiness

Adhere to and refine service standards, updating SOPs as needed

Assist with budget development and manage financial performance

Communicate clearly across departments and with members

Support marketing, programming, and membership initiatives

Introduce fresh, thoughtful ideas that enhance the member experience

Candidate Qualifications

5+ years of progressive F&B leadership in a club, resort, or upscale restaurant

Proven ability to build, inspire, and develop high‑performing teams

Expertise in a la carte dining, events, beverage programs, and service excellence

Strong financial skills: budgeting, forecasting, cost control

Energetic, visible, approachable leadership style

Highly organized with strong communication skills

Advanced level of wine and beverage knowledge (required)

Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and club management systems

Degree or relevant certification preferred

Education Requirements A minimum of a two‑year associate’s degree is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Applicants must also have a minimum of two years of experience in the hospitality service industry. CMAA membership and previous experience working in a private club are considered highly desirable.
