Nutrition Aid staff members are part of the patient care delivery support staff. They are tasked with assisting in the provision of food service to patients in OSUH, James, Ross, NSF and Dodd Hall. Additionally, in this position you will be asked to provide direct meal and nourishment service to patient, communicate with patients for alternate selections when needed and other duties as assigned. Knowledge of dietetic standards and ability to interact with patient care staff regarding special diet orders. You will be required to communicate with a variety of patients, visitors and staff members so that the patient care requirements are met. Maintain patient kitchen supplies. Follows sanitation procedures. Transports tray carts to and from patient kitchens. Provides customer service to patients, visitors and staff. Uses appropriate communication skills. Qualifications
You will also need to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers; able to read and write simple sentences. We ask you have one course or more experience in food service and public relations or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Education Required
