Work and serve as a key member of a diverse culinary team, preparing and executing the menu under Chef direction with precision and consistency. Achieve maximum proficiency at assigned stations (Garde Manger, pasta, grill, sauté, pizza), including proper station setup, cleaning, stocking, and clear communication with chefs and teammates to facilitate efficient kitchen flow. Work in a high‑intensity kitchen environment, handling busy services without compromising quality and consistency. Support other kitchen areas as needed, including pastry, pasta, and prep cook duties, to assist teammates during service. Requirements
At least 1 year of relevant restaurant experience (preferred). Culinary and/or college degree recommended, with substantial knowledge of food preparation. Passion for cooking, hospitality, and learning new skills. Highly organized, productive, and meticulous in a high‑intensity kitchen work environment. Energetic and friendly personality, with a strong willingness to work as part of a cohesive team and support colleagues. Willingness to take direction from chefs, embrace change and innovation, and adapt to new systems, service steps, and health and cleaning procedures. Broad and flexible availability, including AM/PM service and prep/production shifts. Physical ability to handle and carry trays, smallware, equipment, or other items up to 35 lbs, and to stand, walk, and move steadily for extended periods.
