Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You’ll collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule Details
Starting pay: $13.50–$15.50 per hour (depending on skills and experience).
Eligible for annual pay increases.
Part‑time position with a variable schedule.
Average weekly hours: 6–12 hours.
Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a Hallmark mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory across departments. Maintain professional and courteous interactions with store staff and customers.
Holiday support: Work additional days or extended hours during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; may be required on the holiday itself.
Department resets: Assist with installations, relocations, and resets of card sections; notified at least two weeks in advance; may require evenings or weekends.
Team collaboration: Support other merchandisers within Hallmark’s field organization as needed.
Physical Requirements Physically demanding job requiring high energy and urgency. Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. Must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may need to climb stairs and ladders.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Comfortable using a digital handheld device.
Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.
Reliable transportation to and between assigned stores.
