Position: Car wash attendant
Client: ISP
Location: 8500 E. 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219
Duration: 6+ Months
Work Schedule Work schedule is 8-4:30 pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch. Work week is 37.5 hours.
Responsibilities
Prospective candidates will be required to pass extensive background investigation with the Indiana State Police to include credit, financial, educational, criminal, employment, medical, and military (or selective service) records.
A formal statement from the candidate explaining their reasons for requesting consideration for this role is required at the time of submission.
Fleet maintenance support by routinely cleaning the exterior/interior of vehicles issued by Field Support Services (FSS).
Hand-wash the exterior of all FSS pool cars on an as-needed basis, or at least twice a month.
Clean the interior of all FSS pool cars at least once a month.
On a quarterly basis, hand-wax all FSS pool cars.
Assist FSS Installation in the preparation of new/re-issue commissions for issuance.
On an as-needed basis, hand-wash the dirt and grime collected on new/re-issued cars that have been sitting on the lot for an extended time.
This process is necessary to protect the State Police’s investment.
Required Skills
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum age of 18 to apply.
Valid Indiana driver's license.
