We are seeking an experienced
Restoration Crew Chief
to lead water, mold, and fire damage restoration projects from start to finish. The Crew Chief is responsible for supervising technicians, ensuring work is completed according to
IICRC standards , maintaining job documentation, and communicating effectively with management, customers, and insurance representatives. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise restoration crews on water, mold, and fire damage jobs Perform and oversee mitigation services including water extraction, drying, containment, and mold remediation Ensure all work is completed in compliance with
IICRC standards
and company procedures Set up and monitor drying equipment; record moisture readings and daily job logs Maintain accurate documentation and photos for insurance purposes (Xactimate, Docusketch, or similar platforms) Communicate job progress with project managers, adjusters, and homeowners Train and mentor technicians on proper restoration techniques and safety procedures Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and professional at all times Respond to emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation Required Qualifications
IICRC certification(s) required
(WRT required; ASD and/or AMRT preferred) Minimum of 1 year of lead or crew chief experience
in the restoration industry Strong knowledge of water damage mitigation and mold remediation processes Ability to read moisture maps and make drying decisions Experience with job documentation and insurance‑related reporting Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in challenging environments (crawlspaces, attics, etc.) Preferred Qualifications
Additional IICRC certifications (ASD, AMRT, FSRT, OCT) Experience using
Xactimate Experience working directly with insurance carriers and adjusters Strong leadership and customer service skills Compensation & Benefits (Optional Section)
